Our building houses Kindergarten through Second Grade as well as our Pre-school and Parents as Teachers programs. We truly believe in making Southern Boone Primary School the best by focusing on instructional practices that are good for kids: creating a safe and positive environment, building strong relationships with the parents and community, making sure that our own learning is continuous. With everyone working together for our kids, we will achieve "Excellence in Learning for ALL"!

Thank you Ms. Sickmeier and her sister Holly for visiting our school for our first Author visit of the year! We are so proud to have a published author teaching at our school. Everyone was inspired by your work and looks forward to creating our own personal narratives!

School District  phone line  Violence Hotline

    Patrons and Students,

In an effort to meet the needs of our students, the district purchased a new service to help identify and resolve concerns. Whether it is bullying, violence, crime or something you just need to talk to someone about, please let us know. Tell a parent, tell a teacher, or use our school hotline.

If you send a text message, a school official can reply to you. If you call, you will be asked to leave a voice message that a school official can listen to. They are not able to see your phone number or identity. To the extent that the caller wants to be, concerns can be expressed completely in an anonymous approach.

Posters have been hung in each of the building promoting the system.

The success of every student is critical. If concerns are not resolved effectively it affects kids in negative ways.  I encourage you to report concerns to the building administrators or myself. In the event that you do not feel comfortable reporting concerns in person, then I ask that you call our school hotline at (573) 271-2010.

    Respectfully,

    Christopher Felmlee

    Superintendent
