I grew up in Columbia and attended Truman State University. I completed my student teaching internship in Second Grade at Southern Boone in the fall of 2001 and was hired to teach full time the following year. After thirteen years in Second Grade, I decided to make the leap to Kindergarten in 2015. I love my job and I love this community. I am raising my three children here in Ashland because it's a GREAT place to be!
