    Congratulations, boys and girls varsity basketball teams for defeating Versailles yesterday!  Girls varsity won 82 - 26 and the boys team won 80 - 58; both teams are 12 - 2 this season!

    The Missouri Youth Institute is a life-changing experience at the University of Missouri where high school students engage with local leaders and experts on critical global food security challenges, participate in hands-on science activities, and explore exciting ways to make a difference in Missouri and around the world.  This year's event takes place Monday, March 2nd.  Your registration proposal is due by Monday, February 3rd.     The local American Legion sponsors are looking for contestants for the 2019-20 Oratorical Scholarship which is a Constitutional Speech Contest. Contest entry is open to all high school students. 
    The contest is to develop knowledge and appreciation of the United States Constitution, the ability to think and speak clearly and critically, and the acceptance of the duties, responsibilities, rights and privileges of American citizenship. 

    Information is posted on the bulletin board in the English Hallway and in the Commons and a link to the website is on the High School Guidance Scholarship webpage.
