Ms. Schneider

Background: I grew up in Mt. Sterling, Missouri...a little town just east of Linn. My family had a small cow-calf operation, but sold the cattle when I was in college. Now, we rent the land to a local, young farmer who row crops. In high school, I was very active in the Owensville FFA Chapter serving as historian, reporter and president as well as the Area XI Treasurer.
Education: I am a proud Mizzou Tiger! In May of 2010 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education with a minor in Plant Science. Currently, I'm going back to school for a Master's of Education in Guidance and Counseling.
Work History: While I had a multitude of internships as a college student within the agriculture field, I have spent the last three years teaching agriculture in Southeast, Missouri. The classes I taught included: Ag Science I, Ag Science II, Exploratory Agriculture, Ag construction 1 & 2, Biotechnology, Ag Sales and Animal Science.
Future: I am very excited to be serving as an Ashland FFA Advisor! Already, I have heard many positives about the chapter and school. Together, I believe we can work to make the Ashland FFA the #1 chapter in the state of Missouri.
