SCHOOL PICTURE DAY IS TODAY!
Due to several conflicts, FBLA is changing the meeting date to Thursday, September 23rd. It will still be at 7:30am in Mrs. Center's room, 402. Also, please see Mrs. Center or Mrs. Smith if you are interested in running for an officer position.
Homecoming Week Spirit Days for the week of September 27th thru October 1st are:
- Monday: Monster’s University (frat day)
- Tuesday: Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum (twin day)
- Wednesday: Western Woody
- Thursday: Space Jam (Jersey day)
- Friday: The Happiest High School on Earth (SOBOCO Spirit day)
If you still have a library card form, please get it filled out and returned to Mrs. Duckett in the library by Wednesday, September 15th so she can deliver them to Daniel Boone Regional Library.
Manga Monday will meet TODAY from 3:10-4:00 in the library with Mrs. Duckett. Feel free to come check us out!
Dungeons and Dragons will meet again this Tuesday, 9/21, from 3:15 - 5 in the library with Mr. Thornhill.
There will be a representative from Central Methodist University available during all lunch shifts on Wednesday, September 22nd.

Are you ready to dish about the newest Gateway nominated books? The Gateway Lunch club will meet Thursday, September 23rd during all lunch shifts in the Library lab area.
If your organization is planning to be a part of this year's homecoming parade make sure you've contacted Mrs. Duckett to get your spot in the lineup! Thank you to groups who have already reached out. If you have a classic car or convertible available to transport people in the parade, please contact Mrs. Moore.
Thursday, September 23rd is an all-member StuCo meeting. Remember to also check for when your homecoming committee is meeting this week.
Out-of-school Homecoming guest dance forms are available outside the office and on the school website. Questions? Please see Mr. Van Deven10th, 11th, and 12th graders interested in signing up for the Build My Future Fair on October 20th can sign up in the counseling office. The deadline to sign up is September 29th.11th and 12th graders interested in attending the Mid-Missouri College Fair on October 6th can sign up in the counseling office. The deadline to sign up is September 22nd.

Poetry Out Loud: Up to 100 Missouri schools will participate in this competition on a first-come, first-served basis. The first ten high schools in each region will be able to compete at the regional level; each regional champion will compete at the Missouri State Poetry Out Loud competition on March 10, 2022.
The Missouri State Champion will compete at the National Poetry Out Loud Finals in Washington, DC, April 25-27, 2022. The State Champion and their chaperone receive an all-expense-paid trip
to the finals. The champion’s family will also receive a travel stipend from the Missouri Arts Council in order to accompany the State Champion to the finals! Registration ends March 17, 2022. Your 3rd-hour Advisory teacher has more information or see Mrs. Nichols.
There will be a Baseball meeting this Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 7:30 am in the indoor hitting facility for all students interested in participating in baseball this spring. There are important MSHSAA changes that need to be discussed.
