Miss Craig
My name is Michelle Craig. I am the Reading Specialist at Southern Boone Elementary School. I graduated from Central
Methodist College in 1995 with a degree in Elementary Education, grades one through eight. In 2007, I earned additional
certification in Special Reading, grades one through twelve, from Columbia College. I have taught reading and/or
language arts at various grade levels for the past 19 years, with ten of those years as a Title One Teacher. My passion in
education is helping students become proficient, confident, enthusiastic readers for life. My hobbies include travel,
swimming, scuba diving, creating jewelry, as well as, spending time with family and friends.

My name is Dana Flaspohler. I am the Literacy Support Teacher at Southern Boone Elementary School. I have taught in
the Southern Boone School District since 2007. I graduated from University of Central Missouri with a degree in
Elementary Education and Early Childhood. I also have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
