🍋🏆 Southern Boone 4th Grade Students Raise Nearly $5,000 During Lemonade Stand Charity Competition 🏆🍋
Congratulations to the winners of our Annual 4th Grade Lemonade Stand Charity Competition! Meet the team of Luke Thornhill, Liam Stone, Porter Campbell, and Owen Lynn, whose lemonade stand raised an incredible $459.80 to become this year's top-earning stand!
Even sweeter than winning, this team selected Ronald McDonald House Charities as the recipient of all proceeds raised during the event. Thanks to the hard work of our students and the support of our families, staff, and community members, this year's competition raised an amazing $4,919.35 for charity!
Inspired by the book The Lemonade War, our fourth-grade summer school students spent the day putting their entrepreneurial skills to work by creating marketing plans, serving customers, handling money, and running their own lemonade businesses.
Great job to all of our young entrepreneurs for making a difference while learning valuable real-world skills.
📅 Change to Last Day of School for 2025–2026 School Year
Due to unused snow days and upcoming summer construction projects, the district is planning to move the last day of school from Friday, May 22nd, 2026, to Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 (early dismissal at 2 p.m.).

On Thursday, all Southern Boone fourth grade classes traveled to the University of Missouri in Columbia to take part in MU Engineering Week activities.
Students had the opportunity to explore hands-on exhibits and learn about some of the most innovative ideas and technologies shaping the world of engineering. It was an exciting day of discovery, creativity and real-world learning! 🦅❤️🖤
