Power of Positive Parenting
Third grade students read the book, Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy's Parade by Melissa Street. Students then created their own balloon creations and had a parade throughout the elementary school.

During Miss Horton's 4th grade counseling lesson this week, students are learning that they are special and unique. They got to use a fingerprint kit to see what their fingerprints look like.

Mrs. Rogers' 4th grade WINGS class made mummies from apples as part of their studies of the mythology and culture of Ancient Egypt. The students weighed and measured their apples before and after carving faces into them. They discussed the mummification process and put their apples into a special mixture designed to mummify them over the next few weeks.
