Congratulations to this week's artist of the week Nevaeh Bloch! Nevaeh is in Mrs. Shaffer's Art I class and her work will be on display all this week!


This Saturday the boys HS XC team had a great performance at Gans Creek the Varsity team earned 17th place out of 44 teams and 347 runners. Nearly all varsity runners set new PR's in the 5k. George Cabrera led the group and ran his fastest time ever turning in a time of 16:55 earning a medal with 24th place out of 347 runners. Maddox Kennedy had an excellent run with a time of 17:28 finishing 47th, Jackson Cambell finished 115th with a time of 18:29, Cole Blake ran a great time of 19:05, and Blake Schupp turned in a time of 19:44.  

Varsity girls were led by Zafaran Satterfield, Harleee Collins, and Julia Volkart. Zafaran medaled and finished 22nd out of 217 runners while Harlee Collins set a new PR with her time of 22:03. Julia finished with a time of 23:03. 

JV Boys ran well with most setting new PR's and will have another chance to run this Thursday in Moberly while the Varsity Boys will be heading to Fayetteville Arkansas to run in the Chili Pepper XC challenge! Be sure to wish them luck and encourage them as they run and push themselves again this week! 


Manga Mondays meets today after school in the library.


Chess club meets today after school in Ms. Kervian's room.


Dungeons and Dragons and Magic meets tomorrow after school in the library with Mr. Thornhill.


Freshmen have a float meeting tomorrow after school in Mr. Bower's room.

Haunted Homecoming shirts are now for sale! See the link on the High School website live feed or on the high school social media pages to get your shirt ordered! Shirts are $20 and will be delivered before homecoming for those who order prior to October 3rd.


Students, don't forget to sign up and pay for the Device Maintenance Program! For just $20, you can save yourself the heavy fees that come with potential Chromebook repairs. Screen repairs are around $100, depending on models, keyboards cost $25--or you could just pay $20 by September 27th and you're covered for the year! See the library for sign-up information and turn your payment information into Mrs. Duckett in the library!
