🚧 REMINDER: Summer construction projects are underway at Southern Boone High School! 🚧

As a reminder, multiple construction and facility improvement projects are taking place across the high school campus this summer, resulting in limited access, road closures, and parking changes.

⚠️ The Front Commons parking lot and entrance on the west side of the building are the ONLY available parking and access point for visitors this summer.

❌ All other roads, entrances, and parking lots around the high school campus are closed due to construction.

📍Before visiting the high school, please review the attached map and visit the link below for important information about construction projects, parking and traffic routes, athletic facility access, and office relocation details.

Southern Boone High School celebrates our assistant principal, Ana Brooks, for National Assistant Principals Week! This is Mrs. Brooks's first year on the job, but as a long-time teacher in the building, her transition has been flawless! She makes every day balanced, brighter, and more productive! 🚨PARKING ANNOUNCEMENT🚨 In preparation for the second annual Crystal Branch Invitational, we are asking for students and staff to modify their parking this Friday, April 3rd.  Students should limit their parking to the high school Commons lot or the high school Ag lot first and the SE lot by the city park last. We are asking no students or staff to park between the high school building and the athletic complex; this will provide parking availability for volunteers and officials. Congratulations to Southern Boone Band Director T.J. Higgins, who has been selected to march with the nationally recognized Band Directors Marching Band in the Rose Parade on January 1, 2026, in Pasadena, California!

Mr. Higgins will join 350 band directors from across the United States and beyond as they perform along the iconic 5.5-mile parade route, celebrating the power of music education on a worldwide stage.

The annual Veterans Day assembly will be on November 11th at 1:30 pm in the high school gymnasium. All veterans and active service members are invited to attend!

UPDATE: Due to the showers and thunderstorms in the forecast, the Southern Boone Marching Classic scheduled for Saturday, October 18th, 2025, has been postponed and is rescheduled for Saturday, November 1st, 2025.

Congratulations to the Southern Boone Artist of the Week, Kaylee Rafa! Kaylee is in Mrs. Shaffer's Art II class. Great job!
