Here are the top finishes from the Class 3 District District 4 Track Meet. Congratulations to the Southern Boone Boy Track team on finishing in 2nd place.
These athletes will advance to the Class 3 Sectional 2 Meet this Saturday at Mexico High School.
STATE GOLF UPDATE: Day 1 of the Class 3 State Boys Golf Tournament is complete. For Southern Boone, Trent Hargis is tied for 29th with a score of 83, Levi Baumgartner is tied for 48th at 87 and Noah Wilde is tied for 64th at 92.
Day 2 of the tournament is Tuesday at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield.
REMINDER: Effective today, the football/soccer field and track will be closed to the public. This area will remain closed all summer as construction crews install a new turf field, track, video scoreboard and additional new bleachers. A majority of the project is anticipated to be completed by the end of August.

TICKET INFORMATION: You do not need to purchase online tickets in advance for the district baseball games at Southern Boone for this evening and Tuesday night. Tickets will be sold at the gate. Admission is $6 each for adults and children. Kids 6 and under are free.

The Southern Boone Volleyball team will sell chocolate-covered strawberry kabobs as a fundraiser during the district baseball tournament this evening and Tuesday night at the Southern Boone Baseball Field.

The Class 2 District 7 Girls Soccer Tournament is next week in Boonville. Southern Boone will take on Boonville in the district quarterfinals on Monday evening.
