The PTA is looking for students to showcase their talent in an upcoming district-wide talent show! Talents may include but aren't limited to singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits, magic, comedy, martial arts, and juggling; a SoBoCo student or staff member MUST be part of the talent show. One family member may participate to support; Every act must fill out the talent show participation form; Absolutely no profanity or sensitive subject matter! Our wrestlers are state bound! Today at the high school our band led our state-bound wrestlers through the school so everyone could cheer them on! Congratulations and good luck!

Congratulations to Southern Boone High School artist of the Week Charlie Uhrig! He is in Mrs. Shaffer's Art 2 class!
Students in Mrs. Golightly's chemistry classes finished their Black Excellence in STEM project on Friday where they made a periodic table of scientists from different science, technology engineering, and math fields! They are learning about periodic trends and this was a great way to not only get hands-on learning by building their own periodic table but allowed students to research science throughout history and the contributions made to it by Black scientists.
