MOCK VEHICLE ACCIDENT AT HIGH SCHOOL THIS AFTERNOON
Beginning at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, there will be a mock vehicle accident in front of the high school commons parking lot. Multiple emergency vehicles, first responders and simulated patients will be part of the event. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Homecoming 2022 is in full swing! Students are hard at work preparing for the homecoming parade on Friday, September 30th at 2:15. Freshmen have been hard at work on their float!

Good luck to the Southern Boone High School Marching Band as they compete today in a marching competition in Wright City.

Lights, Camera, Homecoming 2022! Students who participate in spirit days will earn points for their grade level all week! The winning class will be crowned Class of the Century at the football game on Friday night! The fun starts Monday! Happy Homecoming!

Congratulations to senior Elizabeth Hess for being named as one of 16,000 Semifinalists in the country in the 68th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. She is competing for one of over 7,000 scholarships that total $28 million that will be offered next spring. The program honors students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies.

Southern Boone Boys Soccer's Annual Pink Out Game will be on October 17th. Proceeds will benefit Southern Boone High School student Brooklyn Smith.
