The Southern Boone County R-I School District is pleased to invite community members to the next Southern Boone Golden Eagles Club Dinner and Program, scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Southern Boone High School Commons. The dinner and program are being sponsored by Central Bank of Boone County.
The Golden Eagles Club is a district initiative designed for community members ages 50 and older, along with local business leaders, providing opportunities to stay informed, connected, and engaged with the ongoing work and successes of the Southern Boone School District.
The evening will begin with a special performance of the National Anthem by members of the Southern Boone High School Band, followed by dinner. The menu will include chili and soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, salad, and dessert.
Following dinner, attendees will hear a series of updates and presentations highlighting key programs and initiatives across the district. The program will include a presentation from the Middle School Junior Beta Club, an activities and athletics update from Activities Director Trent Tracy, an update from the Eagle Foundation, and a district update from Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth.
The Golden Eagles Club was established to strengthen connections between the school district and the community while celebrating student achievements, supporting district initiatives, and sharing important information about the future of the school district.
“We value the opportunity to connect with our community and share the great things happening across our district,” said Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth. “The Golden Eagles Club allows us to keep our community informed while continuing to build strong relationships that support our students and schools.”
The Southern Boone Golden Eagles Club is open to all community members ages 50 and older, as well as local business leaders.
