The Southern Boone County R-I School District will host the Golden Eagles Club Spring Program and Eagle Foundation Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Southern Boone Middle School cafeteria.
The dinner and program are generously sponsored by Jacob Garrett with Motto Mortgage, whose support helps make this special evening possible.
The evening will include a dinner featuring pork loin, chicken breast, cheesy hashbrowns, green beans, salad, and dessert. Following the meal, building principals will share highlights and updates from their respective schools. Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth will also provide an overview of current district initiatives and future priorities.
A highlight of the program will be the Southern Boone Eagle Foundation Awards Ceremony, which recognizes individuals and organizations who have made meaningful contributions to the school district and the broader community. Awards presented during the evening include:
Distinguished Alumni Award – Honors Southern Boone High School graduates who have achieved success and demonstrated leadership, strong character, and service to others.
Distinguished Educator Award – Recognizes current or former educators who have made lasting and impactful contributions to students, schools, and the community.
Eagle Elite Award – Celebrates current staff members who consistently go above and beyond in supporting student success and strengthening the school community.
Friend of Education Award – Acknowledges individuals, businesses, or organizations whose support and leadership have positively influenced the educational environment in Southern Boone.
“We look forward to recognizing the dedication and achievements of those who make a difference in our schools and community,” said Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth. “The Golden Eagles Club Spring Program is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate excellence while also sharing updates on the important work happening across our district.”
The Golden Eagles Club is designed for community members age 50 and older, as well as local business leaders. The program was created to strengthen community connections, provide updates on district initiatives, and celebrate the accomplishments of Southern Boone students, staff, and alumni.
