This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. This is a special time to honor the individuals who lend their passion and skills to educating our children. Thank you to our amazing teachers and everything they do for our students, our schools and our community. Primary School Counselor Mrs. Amelunke was presented with the Mid-Missouri School Counselor Association's Elementary Counselor of the Year Award this afternoon during the PBS Assembly. Congratulations, Mrs. Amelunke!

Our summer school program is for students that will be in Kindergarten-8th grade next school year and will be held July 5th-July 28th. Earlier this week, MU nursing students gave a presentation about living a healthy life to 2nd grade students at the primary school. Students participated in a handwashing activity, learned about stress management, hygiene, nutrition, managing tummy aches and headaches and received some tips about summer safety.
