The primary school is celebrating the last full day of school with a field day that includes students participating in fun indoor and outdoor activities.
UPDATE: Due to the weather, today's Class 4 State Quarterfinal baseball game is being postponed. The game against John Burroughs will be played at 4:15PM on Friday, May 27th at John Burroughs High School in St. Louis.

Students in Ms. Becker's 4th grade class celebrated their iReady achievements in reading and math by getting to throw a pie in their teacher's face.

The community is invited to line Main Street and Broadway at 11:15AM on Thursday, May 26th to help send off the Southern Boone Baseball team as they head to St. Louis to take on John Burroughs in the Class 4 State Quarterfinal.
Central office staff enjoyed a "Lunch and Learn" today at the Southern Boone Learning Garden. The staff learned about all the different types of vegetables that have been planted and enjoyed a fresh salad with ingredients straight from the garden.
The primary school held a Reading Mentors Celebration this morning to recognize and show appreciation to the volunteers that came to the school to read with students. There were 20 reading mentors that participated and 41 students that benefited from the reading mentor program.
