🚍✨ School Bus Evacuation Drills ✨🚍 This morning, all of our kindergarten through 6th grade students participated in rear-door bus evacuation drills. 🚌 These drills are an important part of our commitment to keeping students safe, prepared and confident in emergency situations. Practicing these drills helps students understand the procedures and know how to respond calmly in the event of an emergency. 🚨 Regular practice ensures that students and staff are ready for any situation—whether it's on the bus, in the classroom or anywhere on campus. Thank you to our transportation team and staff for their help with today's bus evacuation drills.

🐣 We are excited to share that our Kindergarten team received a $500 mini grant from the Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation! 🎉 This generous contribution will be used to purchase incubators, warming lights and educational books, allowing our students to explore and learn about the life cycle of chickens. 🐥 Thank you, Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation, for supporting our young learners and helping us bring hands-on learning experiences to the classroom!✨

Southern Boone High School Beta Club is collecting new and gently used shoes for people in third-world countries. Donations can be dropped off in the primary, elementary, middle or high school lobbies.

Food Management! 🍎🥳 Connie has been a beloved member of the Southern Boone School District family since 1998 and has been with Opaa since they came on board in 2004. Southern Boone Parents As Teachers is hosting a Community Helpers event this evening from 5:30-6:30PM in the primary school parking lot. Emergency personnel including an ambulance, police cars, fire trucks and a medical helicopter will all be participating in the event.
