Leah and her husband, Camron live in Ashland with their two daughters; Ari (3) and Ezra (1). Leah’s family enjoys spending time outside- camping🏕️, swimming🏊, playing yard games/sports, jumping on the trampoline, and going for walks.
Leah was raised in Ashland and graduated from Southern Boone🦅🔴⚫. She says she is excited to be back home to teach in the place that gave her such a wonderful school experience. This morning, our Southern Boone School District family gathered for our Annual All Staff Back-to-School Breakfast and Convocation! The day kicked off with the Middle School Student Council leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a beautiful musical performance by Senior Julia Francis. 🎶
Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth inspired us with his opening message, setting the tone for a fantastic school year ahead. We were also honored to welcome our guest speaker, Dr. Todd Whitaker, renowned author of "What Great Teachers Do Differently" and "What Great Principals Do Differently," who shared invaluable insights with our staff.
