Friday is the FINAL DAY of our annual Holiday Food Drive! Students and parents can drop off non-perishable food items or monetary donations at any of the school offices. All food donations will go to families in our community this holiday season. Thank you for your support!

Ms. Gentry's 2nd grade class was chosen in a drawing at the primary school to make decorations for a Christmas tree in the central office boardroom. The students decorated the tree, enjoyed some snacks and listened to Assistant Superintendent Christy Jones read the book, 'Twas The Night Before Christmas.

During Ashland FFA's Ag Ed on the Move, elementary students learned about the poultry industry. Students observed a raw egg and a hardboiled egg and identified the different parts. The FFA members also brought in three laying hens for students to see.

The Southern Boone County R-1 Public School District invites qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024 election. There are two positions available, each with three-year terms.
