We’re excited to welcome Adrienne Suter to the Southern Boone Primary School team as a Kindergarten Teacher!
Adrienne graduated from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is beginning her first year teaching in her own classroom.
Originally from St. Louis, Adrienne comes from a big, close-knit family with five siblings. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks and cooking with her boyfriend, Spencer, as well as reading, doing art projects, and traveling—especially to warm, sunny places. 🌞✈️
Adrienne shared, “I’m so excited to work at Southern Boone because it already feels like home! During my time student teaching here, I built such strong connections with the staff, students, and families, and I truly felt supported and welcomed. I can’t wait to continue growing as an educator in a place that values community, relationships, and student success. I feel so lucky to start my teaching journey in such a special district!”

We’re excited to welcome Angela Hayward to the Southern Boone High School team as an Administrative Assistant in the Counselors' Office!
Angela graduated from Central Methodist University in 2020 with a degree in Criminal Justice and is currently re-enrolled at CMU to finish her teaching certification in Elementary Education. Before coming to Southern Boone, she spent three years working in higher education.
Angela and her fiancé, John, have three children — Kinleigh (6th grade), Delanie (4th grade), and John Maverick (1st grade) — who are all joining Southern Boone this year! Outside of work, Angela enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping, though most of her free time is happily spent at the ballfield or gym, cheering on her kids in baseball, softball, basketball, and cheer. ⚾🏀📣
Angela shared, “I started at Southern Boone in April and have absolutely loved my time here so far. The high school counselors and administration are top notch, and I’m so glad I get to work with such an amazing group of people.”

We’re excited to welcome Cassandra Gazaway to the Southern Boone Middle School team as our new 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher!
Cassandra brings six years of teaching experience, including three years as a 4th–6th grade science teacher in the La Monte School District, two years teaching 3rd grade at Callaway Hills in the Jefferson City School District, and one year teaching 5th grade at Callaway Hills.
She and her husband, Blake, have been married for nearly 14 years and have a daughter, Alyssa, who will be a 4th grader at Southern Boone Elementary. The Gazaway family has lived in Ashland for three years and loves the small-town community. You’ll often find Cassandra camping and fishing with her family or cheering at Southern Boone sporting events — where Blake serves as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Show-Me Sports Network.
