The Southern Boone County R-I School District is pleased to announce Christy Jones as the next assistant superintendent for the school district.
Ms. Jones has 25 years of education experience, which includes 16 years as an administrator. She is currently the high school principal at Marshall Public Schools. Ms. Jones will officially begin her duties as assistant superintendent for the Southern Boone School District on July 1st, 2023.

SBC Theater Productions presents a Cinderella Princess Tea for primary and elementary school students on Sunday, March 12th from 1-3PM in the High School Commons. In Mrs. Dooley's 5th grade science class, students have been learning about all the Earth systems. Students got to see how clouds condense and then precipitate once the water drops get too heavy. They enjoyed the shaving cream rain cloud experiment.

Congratulations to these middle school students for being selected for the Northeast Missouri Music Educators Association Junior High District Band. They rehearsed all day on Saturday at Moberly High School and performed a concert with the band on Saturday evening.
