8th grade students from the middle school went on a field trip today to explore the Mizzou campus. Students were able to check out the different buildings on campus. Mizzou's rec center staff provided a STEAM activity and talked to the students about mindfulness.

The school district will be holding two public meetings next week to discuss the $3 million no-tax-increase bond issue that will be on the ballot in the April 5th, 2022 election. The meetings will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29th and Thursday, March 31st in the Central Office Boardroom. Two students at the primary school work with subitizing cards to develop flexibility with their math skills. These cards allow them to find their own way to make sense of the numbers. The students use their own strategy to find the answers by adding the two cards together.

The middle school delivered signs to the 3rd Quarter "Student of the Quarter" students last week. All students were chosen as a part of the Student of the Quarter program sponsored by Central Bank in Ashland. We are so grateful for the partnership with Central Bank that allows us to celebrate outstanding students each quarter! Our Students of the Quarter get a yarn sign delivered by teachers and a pizza party the next day at school. Here are pictures of just some of the Students of the Quarter!
