LOCATION CHANGE: Southern Boone will be offering physicals for students in 7th-12th grade on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at the MIDDLE SCHOOL. Please use the middle school main entrance. Checks need to be made payable to Peak Sport and Spine. Physicals are good for 2 calendar years from the date of the exam. Click the link below for additional fall sports and activities information.

🌟 We're thrilled to announce that Rebekah Hammett, our amazing Vo-Ag teacher at Southern Boone High School, has been named one of 34 Regional Teachers of the Year by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education! 🏆
The Teacher of the Year program celebrates educators who make a profound impact on their students' lives. Rebekah was selected from nearly 500 nominees across 284 school districts statewide. Next up, DESE will unveil the semi-finalists for the 2026 Missouri Teacher of the Year award in August. 🍎🎉

🚧 High School Expansion Construction Update! 🚧
Construction crews have been hard at work this summer on our high school expansion project! Work began in May and crews are currently installing concrete footings and underground conduits for electric and sewer lines. Work is also moving forward on a new parking lot and drive east and north of the high school building.
This construction project includes:
✅ A new vocational and agriculture wing
✅ Two new art classrooms
✅ A new family and consumer science classroom
✅ Roof repairs
✅ Parking lot improvements
This project was made possible thanks to our community’s support of the $11.6 million no tax rate increase bond issue passed in April 2024.

💵 Pay starts at $27.63 per route and $17/hour for trips
💼 100% district-paid health insurance for qualifying drivers

🍋🌟 Today was a refreshing success at our Annual 4th Grade Lemonade Stands! 🎉 Inspired by "The Lemonade War," our students dove into entrepreneurship, learned to count change, and made delicious lemonade to support a great cause.
