Reading teachers from the primary school attended the MARRE Conference in Branson last week. They learned research based best practices from experts in literacy. They can’t wait to share what they learned with their students and colleagues!

Students in Mrs. Purvis 6th grade English language arts class this week worked on puzzles that were complex sentences.




Today is National Education Support Professionals Day! This day honors the contributions of school support employees. These professionals play a crucial role and provide important services to students in our school district. Students in Mrs. Kennedy's 7th grade social studies classes are on the case! Earlier this week, they put on their detective caps to analyze a cold case file over the disappearance of the Roanoke Colony in Roanoke, Virginia in 1590.




Last week, students from Mrs. Stegemann's high school business tech class attended the Missouri Highway Patrol Career Fair. They learned about the different departments and areas of the highway patrol.





Southern Boone Parents As Teachers is having a group event, Dino Night this evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the primary school cafeteria.

3rd grade students have been learning about weather and had a special guest visit them last week. Meteorologist Maddie Est taught students about clouds and the difference between weather and climate.
